Responsive design for websites

Design a website takes a lot of time and effort. It covers a wide range of activities and you have to do a lot of back and forth with design implementation between your team and the client. Although most of us associate web design to how it renders on the desktop, a lot of people forget that in today's world, an equal number of people visit any given website from a mobile phone as well.

In order to address this situation, mobile-first approach is adopted wherein you design for the mobile rendering initially and then design for the desktop. Google gives a lot of preference to the mobile-first approach. When websites were built earlier they weren't obviously thinking about viewing on the mobile phone. This is why you will notice that the websites that were built back in the day look quite ugly when viewed on the mobile now.

Responsive web design is the in thing now. Responsive design means that the website adopts the screen size on which it is viewed. So your website looks something on the desktop, and then adjust the layout accordingly when viewed on the tablet or the mobile phone.

At WP Adventure we make websites that are fully responsive. You will obviously fall in love with designs! And so will Google :)
